Walking directions to Hotel San Salvador (with map)

The
Hotel
San Salvador is a small, friendly two-star hotel on the San Marco side of
the Rialto Bridge, within fairly quick walking distance of the Piazza San Marco.
(Our son and daughter-in-law stayed there a few years ago and enjoyed their
experience.)
The hotel's 10 rooms aren't large, but all have private bathrooms
with showers, and Wi-Fi is included in the reasonable rates.
How to reach the Hotel San Salvador from the Alilaguna
Linea Arancio airport-boat pier at Rialto:

-
As you leave the boat pier, turn left. Cross
the small bridge just ahead of you and walk through the arcaded passage until
you see a Nicla clothing store.
-
Turn right onto the Calle Larga Mazzini and
walk straight ahead to the Campo del San Salvador, which has a memorial column
in the street.
-
Turn left and walk down the Via 2 Aprile toward the Campo
San Bartolomeo. Look for the Calle
Galeazza on your right.
-
Turn right into the Calle Galeazza and walk to the Hotel San
Salvador, which is at no. 5264. (You'll need to ring the bell and climb a
staircase to the hotel lobby.)
