Walking directions to Palazzo Bembo (with map)
The Palazzo Bembo on the Grand Canal is a tiny (six-room) inn on the top floor of its namesake building, the Palazzo Bembo. The palace, which was built for one of Venice's oldest families in the 1400s, is now used for art exhibitions and special events--except for the former servants' quarters, which have been converted into four elegant rooms and two junior suites for overnight guests. Amenities include period furnishings, views of the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge from some rooms, an elevator from the ground floor, and free Internet access via Wi-Fi or an Internet terminal in the lounge. The location is central (the Rialto Bridge makes it easy to reach the other side of the Grand Canal), and directions to the Hotel Bembo from the Alilaguna airport boat are short and simple. How to reach the Palazzo Bembo from the Alilaguna Linea Arancio stop at Rialto:
